The The Castle Beer Festival takes place this year on the 14th and 15th of May 2027. Gates open at mid day and close at 10pm.
With your ticket, you’ll get entry to the festival, a reusable PET glass for your drinks, and access to amazing live performances at the bandstand.
Take it home or put into one of the containers at the Caslte Gate, please do not throw them in any of the bins. We will reuse them.
The bars at the venue are card-only, so please make sure to bring a card for your drinks. This is not a token event—you will be paying each brewery directly for their beers. Food vendors will choose their own payment methods, so check with them for details.
The event complies with UK licensed laws. You must be 18+ to purchase and consume alcohol at the event.
We always recommend you wear compfy shoes as most bars are situated on the grass at the Castle, it is April, so still quite chilly when the sun goes down so we would also recommend you bring some warm clothes for later in the evening.
No. Entry to the festival is one-time only per ticket. Once you pass through the exit gates, your wristband becomes invalid, and you will not be re-admitted. We have plenty of amazing craft beer, delicious street food, live music, and seating inside to keep you covered all day long!
There is no parking on site at the festival but there are many car parks and on street parking near the event.
It it the Nottingham Castle policy that no dogs are allowed on site during the festival, we a love dogs so we are sorry.
There are lots of benches at the festival but never enough for the amount of people who come, so you are more than welcome to bring your own foldaway chairs.
We install a few taps of drinking water to swill your glasses and for refreshment free of charge, you are also more than welcome to bring in water in a bottle that the seal has not been broken.
